Last night I had the chance to go to a Stereophonic concert at the Vogue Cinema downtown. This year, the music festival, organized by the CHMA student radio station was sponsored by CBC Radio 3. It was a pretty good show. My favourite acts were Steve Fifield, Pat Lepoidevin, and Julie Doiron.
Here are a few of the top tracks by a few of the artists there. I especially like Car Crash, Snowfalls in November, and Brother from Another Mother:
Unfortunately I couldn't stay for the night's headliner Old Man Luedecke, who I heard was great. I managed to take some photos of the event. Here they are:

Julie Doiron

I may be wrong, but I think you have labelled Steve Fifield as Al Tuck and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just published totally untrue guesses about who took that footage on my blog. Sorry 'bout that. I'll fix it soon.
Yes I did have that completely backwards...that's for the correction.
ReplyDeleteHaha...oh that's alright. I'm glad you liked the little snippet I got of him singing George the Polar Bear. Unfortunately the other footage I had was of really poor quality.
