Lately there has been a bit of snow and ice at Mount Allison. Monday night there was freezing rain...and by 2am on Tuesday trees had been knocked over and the power went out. The sidewalks had been covered by ice for days already, but the new layer made walking to class difficult (so much so that some classes were canceled and many were upset the University was not closed for the morning so that it was more safe to walk through campus).
Despite the inconvenience, campus looked pretty nice covered in ice. Here are a few pictures.
